This Privacy Policy explains how Idearellc ("GlucoGuide", "we", "us"), based in Seven Hills, Ohio, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the GlucoGuide mobile app and related services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Meal inputs: photos you capture or upload, barcodes you scan, and text descriptions you enter for analysis.
• Health-related logs you choose to enter: blood glucose readings, diabetes type (Type 1 or Type 2), and meal history.
• Account & purchase data: subscription status and purchase receipts handled through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
• Device & diagnostic data: basic device info, app version, and crash/error logs used to keep the app reliable.

2. How we use information

• To analyze your meals and return carb estimates, glycemic impact, and diabetes-aware guidance.
• To compute features like streaks, weekly insights, and an estimated A1C from readings you log.
• To operate and improve the app, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
• To process subscriptions, free trials, and Lifetime Access purchases.

3. On-device by default

Meal history, glucose readings, and your diabetes type are designed to stay on your device. We do not maintain a server-side database of your meal history or glucose log.

4. AI processing

To analyze a meal, the photo or text you submit is sent to our AI processing providers for the sole purpose of returning that analysis. Inputs are not used to train models and are not retained beyond what's necessary to fulfill the request.

5. Subprocessors

GlucoGuide may use service providers for AI processing, billing, subscriptions, and app operations. These may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Each is bound to handle data on our behalf.

6. Purchases & subscriptions

Subscriptions and Lifetime Access purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat. We never see or store your full payment card details.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share limited data only with the service providers required to operate the app.

8. Your choices & rights

• You can delete meal entries and glucose readings from within the app.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• You can request data deletion or export by emailing support@myglucoguide.com.

9. Children

GlucoGuide is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
